Forums - Movies Discussion - Anyone buy the New Van Damme movie, "Swelter"?

Lol....Alfred Molina should have stayed away from Nic Cage. Now in only about a decade, he has gone from Doc Oct to a booze hound desert doctor with a failing liver, that resides in some god forsaken desert that looks like the set for the movie Tremors.

I just finished watching it while posting here for two hours. I missed the whole thing, but from what I saw, I did not like it. Good story idea, the box art looks much better than his last one, and his hair is not as freaking stupid as his last one either.

Go rent it tonight!

That looks pretty lame, probably not a lot of Van Damme in it either.

I bet he doesn't even do the splits or punch a snake in that movie.

From what I watched, he did not really do anything. I was not happy. In his last movie he is taking out plenty of people.

Edit ( But he is in it a lot, he just does not do much. I will have to watch it again when I am not doing homework, typing here, and drinking wine)

It's been 20 years since I bought a Van Damme movie (Timecop).

People still buy movies? Especially C movies?
This doesn't seem worth a 700MB download...

DVDs and Blu Ray is still a big industry.
