Whatever happened to Mad Max. I liked the concept of that game. Is it still 2015?

What we need is a list for each the WiiU/PS4/XB1 that has all of the AAA/retail games for 2015. That way a real comparison can be made. Every time someone makes list for a console, they include a bunch of indie games. Those could be coming or there could be double that many app ports. Most of the indie games are on PC anyway, so they aren't really exclusive. And if they hit a console first, they seem to come to PC at some point.

I know that some of the indies are AAA quality, and if they get a retail release they should be counted. Both the XB1 and the PS4 are going to be loaded with hundreds to thousands of the indie type games/apps by the end of this generation. I guess that the "my system" has more than "your system" will be an argument like the ios vs android app counts. When one has over a million apps and the other has 500K+, does it really matter?

I have a list that is more or less realistic for Wii U 2015.

From the beginning it was an attempt to see how Wii U could survive without 3rd parties. It goes on to holiday 2018 so that gives you an idea of the realism. ;P

Next year they will definitely pass 10 million LTD, hopefully by next Gamescom so they can get on stage and announce it like Sony this year .

Yeah I hated the PS2 era as well. There were dozens of great new games released every couple of months it seemed to the point where I had a backlog of like 10-15 fun new games pretty at all times. With only the dominant PS2 that ended up with triple the combined sales of its two competitors we got a library of at least 2000 games on PS2 with dozens of new ips and modern classics.

It was horrible...

 

In all seriousness though, I do hope that the trend of improving Xbox One's overall value will continue and we will see it remain relevant throughout the generation.
