Very much looking forward to Xillia 2. I'm more of a Tales of fan than a Xillia specific fan.

Tales of Humor is just awesome and I'm picking it up fay 1.

Getting it on launch (digital though). Love the DLC compatibility between games.

And Tales of Hearts R later this year. Cant wait for that either!

Agree 100% on the bolded. I love both of those characters a lot and its the only reason I'm worried on how I'll feel about this one.

I know there's a lot of people who have played this and say Xillia 2 is better but I wonder if I'll feel the same. Most people I see saying that are talking about the gameplay, and honestly the reason I loved Xillia was its plot and characters not its gameplay.

Yup! I've actually been finishing up my 2nd playthrough lately--I think I've just got about one more dungeon to go and I'll be done. My impression of the game isn't as good as some of the other Tales of games but I still find it to be a very enjoyable game overall, especially if you manage to squeeze some of the enjoyability out of the battle system (despite its flaws).

The plot/characters in ToX aren't that good IMO but the skits are pretty enjoyable, at least, and though ToX2 might be pretty different with the story (not as focused on Jude/Milla but rather new characters, especially ones that sadly didn't exist before ToX2), I think it'll be good regardless and hey, (SPOILERS) ----------- you get to play as Gaius, so... it can't be terrible, right? lol

Will get it eventually working on my second play through of the first Xillia. Still have to beat Tales of Symphonia also.
