Just a bunch of poorly made survival horror games that try their best to emulate the success and story of Silent Hill 2.


Exactly, but let's also not forget SH Origins and SH Shattered Memories that tried and failed miserably to add to and "reimagine" SH1.

To be honest, I would love to see this new game bomb, and bomb hard at that. The original creators are long gone, and they have all moved on to other things. They madethree incredible enduring classics of the genre, and lesser developers and hack film directors have been trying to piggback off of Team Silent's success for years now. Quit dancing on Silent HIll's grave Konami.

To be clear, I am not against Kojima making a new game. Personally, I don't think the man has come close to making a decent game in his life, but apparently a large group of people love his games for some reason. Go ahead and make a horror game, but don't tarnish Silent Hill's name even further. Call it something else and make it an original horror experience disconnected from Silent Hill. You are the vice president of the company now with a long track record of high selling games. Who is going to stop you if you want to make a new ip?

Most of them are now on Sony´s TEAM SIREN. They have done a amazing job on SIREN BLOOD CURSE (PS3).

It being a reboot with Kojima and Del Toro behind it, and with the horror genre making a comeback lately... I say 3m across all platforms.

The Playable Teaser was scary as fuck, by the way. Much scarier than the original games. I don't know if my heart can take it.

I agree, it was light years scarier than any Silent Hill game ever, even considering that I was a teenager when I played the first one, and, therefore, much more easy to scare...

I really want this to do well. Given that Silent hill is pretty highly regarded, and Kojima has such a massive following, I think it will.

Silent Hill is not about scary, damn.
