Ok, so, we all know Hideo Kojima is a genious and P.T. (the horror game teaser thingy) was brilliant and ver very scary.

So, we are all very excited and happy about the Hideo Kojima take on Silent Hill, with the upcoming game SILENT HILLS from Konami.

That said, how much do you guys think it will sell, I don´t even know which systems will get it, but, since it is Fox Engine, I guess it will launch on PS3, PS4, PC, XBOX 360 and Xbox One (maybe WiiU, but probably not).

So, first of all, Silent Hill was never a hit, I think the first one did 1 million and half and Silent Hill 2 did okay too.

However, it was a iconic, cult and impressive horror game. Could SILENT HILLS be finally be the big hit this franchise deserve it?

I personally hope so, and here it is a prediction/wish for SILENT HILLS sales:

PS3: 1 million

PS4: 2 million

PC: 300k.

Xbox 360: 500k.

Xbox One: 1,2 million.

Total: 5 million.

I purchased it recently and I'm loving it so far. Though, I've liked all Silent Hill entries.

 

Regarding your post, I'd say 5 million is crazy. 2 million lifetime is what I can expect.

I trust Kojima =D I loved all Silent Hills except Book of Memories, which was really bad. Even Homecoming was ok. However, the first four games were the best. And, yes, I love SILENT HILL 4: THE ROOM.

Compared to the first four games and the PSP one, yes, they were really bad. But as games they were decent I think, had some creepy moments, althought they were not that inspired or unique.
