Umm, I know someone who owns a PS3 and a Vita and just hates the fucking shit out of Sony. I can't speak for Jizz_beard, I'm just saying owning a console doesn't mean you aren't biased.

Perhaps. But Jizz_Beard actually likes his PS3, and has commented on how much he loves the PSP tons. It's not like he's biased against Sony.

With the attached rate at 3 games per console, who are these people saying there are no games.. who are these people...and how come they have so much time to have played all these big titles.

This month we have Diablo and Metro - ok no new titles as such, but still something to play. After September, these people should go away because there are way too many games coming out in the next 6 months.

You're breaking rule number 1. If any game on the list is playable on any other platform in any shape or form, it is immediately rendered unplayable on your PS4. Like your PS4 will literally show a pop up saying, I'm sorry, this game can be played on other platforms, please remove this disc and try again. For realz.

Ah man sorry yeah... unless it's released on PC then its ok... forgot the cardinal rules. :(

Yeah seriously though, I've heard that one lots. It's like some people have multiple different arguments that only apply to Sony. I just want to play games, I have multiple devices to play games on, and I am for the moment content, of course I want the next Fallout or Uncharted, those games that define a generation, but people expecting them to arrive in 8 months of a console launch, basically no nothing of game development. Of course the next consoles (PS5/XB2) if they are just upgrades, it may happen a lot quicker.

Yes but your in a unique situation. Your basically shopping for a second gaming console. When I was a pc gamer I saw no point in owning a console. It wasn't until I needed up upgrade and I started a career in IT that I switched to consoles. It's very hard to convince someone in your position.

Not really. Tons of people own PCs and consoles. The main selling point of consoles is exclusives that you can't find on PCs, and the PS4 simply doesn't have very many right now. The few that it has are mostly mediocre (Knack, Killzone, Infamous), and nothing to buy a new console for.

Yes tons of people but still not the majority of console owners. That's not the main selling point of consoles your only viewing this from your point of view. Most gamers don't game on two systems they just don't have the time or money. Anyone relying on just exclusives is never going to enjoy there console. In fact it's dumb to get a console for just exclusives if you ask me. Unless you wait until they very end of the cycle and then go back and play everything that was released.

A lot of games is a lot of games regardless of whether or not you are interested in them. They don't cease to exist because you don't want them.

Also, people are right. There is a drought of big titles on PS4. There are loads of indies, which can be just as good, if they appeal to you. If not then it makes the situation appear worse.

Also, people are right. There is a drought of big titles on PS4. There are loads of indies, which can be just as good, if they appeal to you. If not then it makes the situation appear worse.

That is silly. It's summer time, there is a drought of big titles on ALL systems. People need realistic expectations and some patience.

I own and loved a Gamecube. Doesn't mean I can't be biased against other consoles and Nintendo as a whole.

If there is a drought of big titles on PS4, there is a drought of big titles on all platforms cause i don't see anyone doing better.

 

Anyway he's right about the perception part, and by perception he means stupidity. Just like how some people are stupid in associating PS TV with "TV".
