These current sales are with high priced skus and not that many games available. With bundles and more games this Christmas I fully expect the PS4 to hit 18 million and the Xbox One to reach 12 million by the end of 2014. Did I forget and exclusive bundles or anything?

this gen is great im sad wii u is performing that well but its got gems like xbox one and ps4 will get this holiday and in 2015

hmmm this thread seems to be a stelth troll and a backhanded compliment to the PS4. Then an attempt to downplay PS4s upcoming offerings while listing "Kinect/dance evolution" as a big ONE. maybe im looking too far into it idk

This gen is totally paramount to the future of the industry. If it's a success then we'll continue to see ambitious, groundbreaking titles. If the market has shrunk too much then we're gonna enter a dark age of mobile/tablet gaming. That's how I see it at least.

The PS4 has been doing decently, but considering the underwhelming reception of its competitors it's not exactly a messiah. The Xbone could still be a bit of a sleeping giant - Microsoft certainly has the funds for it. I'm hoping the positive changes they've made will pick things up and make it a very successful machine.

It's way too early to call this gen crazy successful right now, considering two out of three are way under par. But here's hoping this time next year we can say it.
