What if it gets a third party game remastered? 

That's my hope (and prediction made earlier). I'm hoping along with the Hollywood film, they will talk about both games releasing Worldwide come October.

I don't think it will be a Zelda game, since the Zelda "U" will probably release in 2015(unless they delay the game)
Also I don't think is either super mario since there is absolutely no need for a remaster of a mario game (we get one every year)

That aside, I do think its probably F-Zero GX or (wishful thinking) Metroid Prime Collection Remaster with Hunters in glorious HD for online play. Yes, I ask for too much

The remake OP is talking about is on Wii U. They are not going to put 2 Zelda games the same year on the same console.

I believe it will SM64 as many of us has been claiming for it.

I'd like for Xenoblade to get remastered. Difference between all these games and the already HD remasters is just that. These games aren't in HD, they're not in 16:9 widescreen. A remaster will actually be a much more noticeable difference even if it's just increasing it to 16:9 widescreen than just a marginal clarity reduction.

It's Wii Music, you can now use the gamepad to play aswell. All those dancing flowers and Mii's in glorious HD.

I don't think it could be SM64.

The game has already been remade, and is still playable on 3DS.

And I think if it was put onto Wii U, the game and level design would look incredible dated.

I'd love to see Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn get remade...
I never got to play them and they're not easy to find...
If we're talking games I've played (because it's all about me) I'd throw money at anyone who could get me Eternal Darkness or Donkey Kong 64...
And if Nintendo acquired the rights to Jet Force Gemini, there would be very unmanly tears everywhere...
