If it's the same quick time event fest as the first, I'll pass.

I mean why not? We all know it won't be exclusive to Xbox and third party games is all WiiU needs right now.

Why not? Because we are too busy throwing red shells to care. In short, we don't need it.

Or you could spend your time playing games that are available for Wii U. The selection isn't that bad.

Honestly, at this point, the Wii U still has a bigger library than its rivals, and that's excluding Wii titles. And if we're including Wii titles you even get to play Tomb Raider.

You really don't have an idea of PS4 and X1's library, it seems.

Also the Wii version of TombRaider is nowhere close to being as good as last year's Tomb Raider reboot.

Is it so awesome that it's more fun to port beg than to actually play a goddamn game?

Well you guys need to port beg to play the game.

As for me, even though I have a PS4 and am getting an X1, and loved Tomb Raider on PS4, I still won't be getting the game because of the crap they pulled out.

There are at least two false assumptions being made here.

Nintendo fans are in no position to demand anything.

Sadly I agree, I bought almost all the good 3rd party games for the console, even if they had minor flaws or problems here and there, but I know I am part of the minority, on average less than 3% of the console owners buy any one 3rd party game. I even tried to get more people to buy them but we are just a drop in a pond of indifference, we are too few to make the publishers care.

Dammed if you do, dammed if you dont.

We nintendo fans are all like "been there, done that". Besides, would be hipocrisy, since the Bayonetta 2 deal is exactly the the same(even worse since its not timed exclusivity).

Actually, i'm not against this pratice. I would take a exclusive over a multiplataform easily.

Today most hardware design is left to other companies, but when you make hardware without taking into account the needs of the eventual software developers, you end up with bloated hardware full of pointless excess. Sorry, I don't have a face to demand anything from Square-Enix, after the AWFUL sales (50k) of the GREAT Deus Ex: Human Revolution I am ashamed to ask for anything from that company. It is clear that the rest of the Nintendo fans don't want this kind of games, and even though I bought that excellent and improved port, looks like almost no-one else did.

I bought it.

And you my friend are not part of the problem, but us Nintendo fans as a group, I really hate generalizations but for the publishers we are not zippy and flagstaad the buddies who bought the game, we are part of those gamers that don't really care about our games. Hell I have sold 11 copies of Deus Ex among the buddies from the facebook group, but those are exceptions and not the rule, we are still less than 50k in total and that makes porting any game a financial risk, even if the numbers mentioned by Ubisoft of 1.3 million to port 360 games means selling only 65k units to recover the investment and around 80k make a profit, it is at the moment a risk and they don't want to take it.

Except its not the same...We know Bayo 2 wouldn't have been made without NIntendo stepping in, but would you honestly believe that MS saved Rise of the Tomb Raider? If MS hadn't stepped in, the game would have likely still been made except it would have been multiplatform. Theres a difference between buying a game and buying exclusivity (although of course we can't know the exact details of this deal)

First of all, Deux Ex (Wii U) was sent out to die by SE's stupidity. Second of all, it is third parties fear of taking that minimal risk that prevents there from being three healthy platforms for 3rd party games, which would benefit everyone in the industry. While of course there is some consumer fault, you can't blame Nintendo fans for being skeptical of 3rd party games when we have gotten the short end of the stick repeatedly.
