I'm in the same boat as radishhead. I have never encountered an XBOne outside of a retailer while several of my friends already own PS4s. There is virtually no interest in the XBOne where I live.

You take forum posting way too serious. I'm not getting a grade for this. This is barbershop conversation for me, not a dissertation defense. But no where did I say no one's friends have PS4s, but if you judge by forum posts you would guess they dont.
I know two people, other than myself of course , who own a Xbox One, but they're dedicated Xbox fans who were going to buy the console no matter what, other than that, everyone else I know owns or will own a PS4.
Well, they still are selling about 35,000/week here in the US, so SOMEONE must be buying them. Hard to believe that so many people are that loyal to a platform...especially after the RROD crap last gen...but hey, 'Murica!
I have 5 gaming friends. 3 of them own Xbox Ones and the other 2 plan on getting one soon. I am the only one that owns both Xbox One and PS4.

That is my question, if you're not saying "no one's friends have PS4s?", then who is ?
It's written in the OP isn't ?

I have only 2 friends with Xbox One's as well. One got his 12 year old son one and then decided it didn't make sense to get the PS4 he wanted but having two Xboxs would be more convient (I had arguments against that but I saved them because you don't argue with grown men you respect their decision). The other is the aforementioned gentlemens brother (who happens to be my brother-in-law). They both had only PS3s last gen but as a group of three we generally gamed together and had a random PSN friend as our fourth. So they generally fit the "people I game with have an Xbox" mold.

I think you should read the OP again and realise "IF" if before the phrase you seem to be pointing out and then realise what "IF" means and it should clear that up for you.

Good point. I'm not saying no one has PS4s. It just seems no one's "friends" have them (again based solely on what I've read).
