I read this forums and many other gaming forums alot.  I don't comment much but I do notice trends (as I am a political scientist by trade).

I am wondering after reading alot of the response to PS4 doing so much better than Xbox ONe sales, that alot of user here and on other forums say: "I got Xbox because that's where my friends game, so I don't care about sales" etc. etc.  Okay so in VGC Forum Dewellers view, who do you all think are buying PS4s then if no one's friends have PS4s?

Except none of my friends own a Xbox One, and all of them own a PS4

I've never seen an Xbox One in real life; I know many people with PS4s.

People on forums even equate to small percentage of fandom. Look at the most wanted game thread on this forum. Call of Duty rarely shows up, while something like X on Wii U has tons of interest. Yet, safe to say sales will be well in Call of Duty's favor in 2015.

You can't be serious.

Every school/college/workplace has its own gaming community where one console is primarily played over the others.

It's just that there are more PS4 communities than Xbox One communities.

Liars? They are just spinning ps4 selling better. I have yet to see an X1 in real life tbh.

But there are also trends that forum participants say PS4 users rule forums, so I guess my question is why do there seem to be more users saying there friends are on Xbox.  If PS fans rule forums like is myth, this shouldn't be the case.
