I'm just wondering about these Hp all in on pc's. Are they better, then what I have? I have a simple hp pavilion slimline, with windows vista home. I'm not looking for a gaming pc,but something slightly better, then what I have. It would be nice if I could play my blu-ray's on my pc,but it's not a requirement. Do those pc's have an usb and sd card slots? that's something I would want. I just use my desktop for the internet, but i'd also like to use it to save pics  on it and watch my blu-ray movies, but I doubt that's possible. I'm also wondering if those pc's save on wires. I have one modem and router, that's used for everything and there's wires everywere. again,I don't want anything super fancy, just a slight upgrade. I'm willing to spend between $500-700 and nothing more then that. This is'nt something I'm going to do right away, but looking at those pc's at walsmart got me thinking.

Around the Network

the cheap ones have bad intels, and u cant upgrade a harddrive, and the price is high.
buy a laptop with a i3 and u will have much more fun.

Most people dont't see the point in buying an AIO but I like them more than classic desktop PCs or laptops. I used to have an iMac 21'' from 2007 to 2013, now I have the Dell XPS One 27'' with BR playback, Win 8 and an excellent touchscreen display.

It's arguably the currently best AIO on the market (not counting the current iMac 27, which surely is great as well but doesn't have an internal disc drive or a touchscreen), but it costs 1000$ more than you plan to spent.

Most important imo: If you want to buy an AIO, compare the displays in a store or at least via Youtube videos (on YT you'll find videos for almost any AIO). There are huge differences.

How about this one? (Mind you, I don't know anything about the display quality):

Disclaimer: I'm not a Dell employee, just content with their 27'' AIO

By the way - to answer 3 of your questions: AIOs all have USB ports, usually 7-in-1 card readers (which includes SD) and only one cable (the power cord).
