Famitsu has published a new interview with Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida. While the entire discussion is in Japanese, NeoGAF’s “zeromcd73″ translated some of the more interesting tidbits.
First, according to Yoshida, some new game announcements planned for Gamescom were cut from Sony’s presentation. This was at least partially because the company decided to show new trailers for The Order: 1886 and Bloodborne.
Sony will next have an opportunity to show new content at the Tokyo Game Show next month. And apparently, there will be quite a lot there.
Famitsu’s interview led to other points concerning Japan as well. Yoshida mentioned that Sony will be working with other publishers to help increase the userbase in the territory, and he believes Project Morpheus will have content that will be very appealing to the Japanese audience.
