it came from a thread The Drill made about the XB1 beating the PS4 in sales globally. when people pointed out to him how unreasonable that is he clarified that he meant XB1 beating the PS4 globally in the US.

at least, thats how i remember it happened. im certain the drill said it, im certain of the thread. however i am not 100% sure that was the scenario it happened exactly.

should also pont out he went back and editted some of his posts, so the quotes just past his posts usually give away what he said

Unfortunately he has edited much of the goodies. You can still see it in quotes though.

Man, that thread was half the reason I JOINED this site. xD Kinda curious as to whether we're ever going to end up getting a Second Coming thread at some point; there's a fair chance of Microsoft nabbing an NPD here or there (though I don't think it'll be enough to close the U.S. gap,) and God knows that could spark it all over again.

And to think it went on for 1000+ posts! It was basically theDrill VS the World in that thread. I hadn't joined yet, but I lurked at the time. It made my day, possibly even the month!
