Exactly what I was going to say. Every other game in the main series has been ported to the moon and back. The only one that hasn't is RE0. It was(maybe still is?) exclusive to Nintendo, so it hasn't seen it's sales reach beyond the limited userbase of the GC.

RE0 had a disadvantage coming out of the gate, in that the beloved REmake had been released about 6 months prior, and everyone already knew that RE4 was going to reinvent the RE gameplay wheel. It may not have had the greatest story or characters in some people's eyes, but to deny it was anything less than a quality title is rubbish.

Assuming this is an RE4-style remake, I'm already sold. Considering I'm somewhat of an RE junkie, I'll probably even buy it if it's an Umbrella Chronicles type of game. Maybe when we've made a remake or port of every RE game in the series a million seller, Capcom will toss an RE5 bone this way.

Capcom is probably starting the Resident Evil franchise on the Wii from 0 to 3 and hopefully RE0 is a remake with RE4 gameplay.

If RE0 Wii is just a port of RE0 on the GC with waggle and small amount of extra contact, then there is no reason for me to buy it again while I can just pop in my GC version in my Wii.

Meh, with RE4 controls it might be OK, but still... I'd rather see part 2 or an entirely new chapter (I want Umbrella's End, from RE:UC, to be made into a complete game!).

i don't understand, if they have the resources to do this why can't they make Resident Evil 5 Wii edition instead

RE2 remade with over the shoulder view and RE4 enhanced engine.

hmmmm.....while I'm all for a new RE game, I really don't think RE0 would be what I want unless they remake, and if so why not a totally new game....

Just to make one thing clear: this RE has to be a remake, because the original had prerendered backgrounds, meaning the camera has to be fixed. Since it would be totally useless to do a port of a gamecube game, without implementing Wii controls, they will make the game fully 3D.

Graphically we only have to worry it doesn't look worse than the original, since prerendered graphics are of course techncally easier to be great than fully 3D ones. (REmake and Zero look better than RE4 imo).

I'm a little dissapointed they remake 0 and not 2+3, but I hope Capcom can add storyline, especially the Wesker part.

I see where this is going...

Wii will get like tons of remakes for the easy cash.
