Sony (SCEE) has announced plans to unveil the company's new gaming mascot, 'Sony Sandman,' at Gamescom. "We're please with the amount of Sand this puppy has got packed into his crystals, let's just leave it at that," said the head Playstation PR man, Anthony Arwarding. 

The Sony representative hinted that this may have "something to do" with long-awaited game 'The Last Guardian.' "You'll just have to tune in to see!"
