You're confused.

Sony is focusing on indies because there are fewer 3rd party developers creating games., he cost of development is getting higher. TLoU:RE amplifies this fact. Shuhei Yoshida said this himself:

"“We’ve been saying that the number of AAAs might be getting smaller because the cost of development for AAAs is getting higher,” he said. “But there are so many indie games and great games coming out almost every week or every other week. We’re seeing it on PS4. I hope you’re seeing it as well.”"

Source: http://www.kotaku.com.au/2014/06/missing-ps4-features-still-coming-sony-says/

He also said that just 2 out of 10 games (indies) make money and pay for 6 that don't cover their own cost, and other 2 just sell enough to cover themselves... so there is no correlation in since fewer AAA we will focus on indie, they focus on diversity... AAA, Indie and several tiers in between.

No. I'm not even sure how you translated something so cut-and-dry into something like that.

Maybe because I saw the other interview around the same time?

And he didn't said expect less AAA from Sony, just from the industry in general. And having less AAA but more A and AA is good as well, even more if they have cheaper MSRP as they have smaller budgets.

Just watch Sony's Gamescom. The focus was mainly on indie titles. Sony is pretty serious about focusing on indies. I mean, you can make up any excuse you want in your head, but this has been confirmed. I don't know what else to say to you. ** shrugs **

Sony also showed a ton of exclusives for the PS4.

Bloodborne, The Order: 1886, Tearaway: Unfolded, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, LittleBigPlanet 3, Until Dawn and Driveclub are not indie games.

Bloodborne, The Order: 1886, Uncharted 4, LittleBigPlanet 3, and Driveclub were games showcased in E3. Until Dawn is an indie game. The only new exclusive announced for the PS4 in your list was Tearaway.

The rest of the games showcased in Gamescom were indie titles. I'm sorry. What else can I say?

You could just finally drop the act and admit that you simply have some sort of problem with the PS4 and Sony and want to thus discredit everything they do.

They're releasing 4 new retail exclusives in the next 6 months and you're going on about how they are only focussing on indies, because of their Gamescom conference? How many new games did MS unveil? 1 as far as I remember, that Rollercoaster Tycoon game. Nintendo? None, they didn't even bother with Gamescom. But Sony is concentrating on indies, because they didn't announce enough AAA stuff at that show?

Also Until Dawn is a retail game published by Sony and made by a studio that has over 50 employees, how long do we still call those games indie titles?

So we had Until Dawn, Tearaway and possibly an exclusive new Silent Hill announced from Sony, discounting Wild, which looks like it very well could be a retail game too but we don't know about that yet, and they are only concentrating on indies in your opinion?

1) I just state facts and call out BS. That's all. Nintendo nor Microsoft are exempt from that.

2) No one said they are "only" focusing on indies. What I said is that indies are Sony's main focus right now. I mean, Shuhei Yoshida said it himself. Are you going to pretend that he didn't? Besides, who thinks this to be a bad thing? Certainly not me. However, I'm not going to sit here and deny it either.

3) It's an indie game:

4) Shuhei Yoshida said indies will be the main focus. What more can I say?

1, 2, 4) That is quite simply a lie. Yoshida never said that indies were Sonys main focus, stop making shit up. He said, that AAA developments has become more costly, but that there are a lot of indies to fill the gaps, that in no way means that indies are their main focus. Their studios are all still working on AAA PS4 games and Sony is also still working with third parties to secure retail exclusives.

3) Let me just list a couple games that are indie according to your brilliant definition:

Sunset Overdrive

Quantum Break

Beyond Two Souls

The Order 1886

Wonderful 101

Bayonetta 2

Awesome isn't it?

Bloodborne, LBP3, The Order, DriveClub, Until Dawn, Rime, Tearaway Unfolded, Silent Hills all showed up and none of them is "indie". What do you want, them to show ALL of their AAAs in development at the same show? Get real.

You also conveniently forget that Sony gets ALL of the 3rd party games while still having such a great lineup of exclusives. Add in the indies and you've got a recipe for domination, as PS4 has demonstrated thus far.

To add to that, the longest they spent on any game was Far Cry 4, followed by Destiny, nevermind the Silent Hills reveal.
