I dont even think a movement is necessary as I feel like that it will come this gen anywaz. A complete overhaul of the combat system is in order(which obviously will happen).

That can be a bad move... Most people who like the game like the Additions system as well and would miss it in a possible future game.
I mean, if it's a Remake they will for sure mantain the system (if not that would be a really bad move) but if it's a sequel or spiritual sequel... so yeah, they are most likely to change it. But I would like to have the option to play with the addition system too, I love it!

Oh no, no, no. I dont mean get rid of the addition system, of course not, its a defining feature of the game. LoD is to limited:

1. You can only addition at a time... That blows. Letting the player choose what addition they want to use would be better. It gets boring performing the same mover over and over again, and what if I run into weaker enemies, cant I just use double slash and not have to perform blazing dynamo on something thats dead before combo is in 3rd hit? A roulette system Would be cool to get things fresh and double and triple team additions.

2. Magic being tied to dragoon and itemssucked, Im not gonna waste my limited inventory on magic items in place of angel prayers and healing items ( does anybody do this?) make  magic and dragoon specials separate.

3 Dragoons need a boost. I mean I used them to clear status effects lol, and to keep from getting them. Regular Additions are better than dragoon additions. The added defense is the best feature. I didnt really use them that much.

Thank you again man, if I'm being at least a bit helpful so I'm happy with it =)
The date is August 23rd by the way, so you still have some days to help us with it xD

Their are wanting to collect handwrite letters to give to them as well, but seems they are from EU so that won't be so easy if you wanna join it too
But anything that you want to help is already great, thank you.

You can also e-mail them to give some advices, opinions and ideas if you want to help the movement to grow better.

well about the pictures of the CDs.... the story is this:

back in 2000 when i got the game i was 9 years old, and yes i didnt have money to buy an original CD (aside from the fact that there was not a single store in my city that sold Playstation original games), so yeah without amazon back in the day and with basically zero internet the only way you could learn about games was through magazines like electronic gaming monthly, the original playstation magazine, nintendo power etc.

And the only way you could buy them was through the few stores in the city that sold pirate copies of the game, BUT the thing is this; those stores bought the  (original) games from USA and made copies for sell, but when i bought my copy i realized it had the original black color on the side of the CD that is read with the laser so i thought that the guy mistook a pirate copy for their original copy, (and it made a little sense because that day they told me they didnt had any more LoD games until this copy appeared out of nowhere)....

so i have always wondered if my copy is actually an original one, and a few moments ago i was looking at some original LoD CDs but the art cover thats printed on the various versions of those CDs doesnt match mine, mine has the original art of the LoD case printed in every CD:
This art:

also of notice the game did came with the original case (or at least a really GOOD copy with every detail...)

so i guess all this time i just got a really well crafted pirate copy of the game... oh well at least i finally bought the original version on PSN some months ago.

That people care about the game and we want more of it.
It's ok if you think that it will turn to nothing (you have a lot to back it up ) or that you don't share the love for the game and want nothing more of it.
But some people, just like me, can't stand Sony doing nothing about it anymore as we are heading to it's 15th anniversary, so we started to take some action, be it as small and low impactful it can be, we just want to keep showing to Sony that they have people still caring about it =)

You want to know why Sony isn't going to make The Legend Of Dragoon 2?

Let's say you were the guy in charge at Sony Worldwide and that you wanted there to be a next gen Legend Of Dragoon. Now ask yourself, "who would make this game?". If you look at all of Sony's devs, you would see that really none of them are making JRPG's. So who could Sony go to to make it? NOBODY!

Also, you have to remember that even if they did have a dev that specialized in JRPG games, The developer would still have to WANT to make the game.

Also, The Legend Of Dragoon 2 would be a big scale game that would HAVE to be on par with the Next Final Fantasy as it was in the ps1 days. What jrpg mastermind could they go to who has the passion and imaginative mind grand enough to take on this challenge?

The only jrpg dev they could even THINK about going to is maybe Level 5 and you can trust that they aren't going to be able to do it.

So do you want me to tell you who would be the person to have to make the next Legend Of Dragoon? It would have to be YOU, Bralod.

Sony clearly doesn't have a studio or a mastermind who has the passion on the right scale to make a TRUE Legend Of Dragoon 2.

You are going to have to be the one to do it. It's going to take for an individual to step to Sony and tell them with confidence " Look here! I want to make the next Legend Of Dragoon!"

This is the only way it could happen at this point.

You're going to have to break your way into the gaming industry.

If I could I would already have done it xD

Also, it's already rumored (by Verendus from GAF) that Sony is already doing another big JRPG to par FF to the PS4, so if it turn to be true Sony already have the means to do it =)

Sony have a lot of talented and creative people at Japan Studios, that are helping the likes of Demon's Souls and Bloodborne to be developed too, so they seems to have the people with potential to do such good things already indeed.

With SE mistakes over mistakes it's getting very possible another company step again into the AAA JRPG field and that be Sony IMO.

Also, Mark Cerny, the head behind PS4 already said he would love to see LoD again, so with such a person to back it up (as Shuhei Yoshida that was in involved with LoD too), it wouldn't be that strange to LoD to get all the means to be done again.

We will have to see about that rumor Verendus was talking about. I dont know who the hell Sony could be working with to make a game on par with FF.

Also, Demons Souls is more of a WRPG style game. Mark Cerny attempting to tackle the JRPG genre? Nahh.. I dont even want to see it. The ONLY thing Mark Cerny needs to tackle is Knack 2 and improve on the original game's shortcomings.

Square Enix hardly know where to go in the JRPG genre so i see everybody else's chances of revivng the genre being very slim.

I honestly feel like there isn't a soul on this planet who could make a better Legend Of Dragoon 2 than me. There are a couple of old Sony franchises i've wanted to tackle like Ape Escape 4, Medievil 3, and Parappa The Rapper 3. Hell, i even have some ideas on a brand new franchise based on Toro the cat( the japanese PS mascot).

Let me ask you this.. If you were going to make a Legend Of Dragoon 2, What would you change about the battle system?

If the game have this picture in the cd's itself so it's indeed a pirated copy.
LoD have 3 types of prints in the original cd's that vary from region (JP, US, EU) that I know of.
And these are they:
JP

US

EU
http://www.emulegion.info/en/covers/cover.php?id=112

If it's not one of those is either pirated or some other region type of cover that I really don't know of.

But if the cover of the case is that so it's probably original (or pirated to look so) so you can take a picture with it.

yeah thats what i thought, in fact for some time i have been wanting to buy the EU or US version of the game on Amazon just to add the game to my collection, but its like 89 dolars... so maybe some time in the future.
