And as I get so excited thinking about how great would be a remake to the PS4, the prequel in the Dragon's Campaign or a totally new entry going as a sequel makes me think how much this industry can still amaze me and how they keep denying to do so, lol.

I'm not sure if I ever played the game. I remember knowing about it,but I'm not sure if I've ever had it.

They do.... Final Fantasy? Dragon Quest?, heavily inspired by European mythology. And are you kidding me? LoD was extremely Japanesy, there is nothing western about it. It was literally medieval power rangers with alittle ff7 thrown in there for good measure. If  anything the battle system at time was the biggest turn off as it wasnt traditional and we know that western gamers are more open to change than the Japanese.

im happy to see that the game has done so well on the PSN store, and getting number 1 isn't an easy task when you got so many other great classics to compete against like Silent Hill, Resiedent Evil 2, Final Fantasy 7 etc.

i wish i could send a picture of me with my physical copy of the game but i lost the cd case and i only have the 4 CDs... and i have been keeping them on a cd "stacker" for years now so i don't know if after all that time they still work, and hence the reason why i bought the game on PSN some months ago.

i hope someone at Sony notices all of this, a remake or a sequel would be so great.

Maybe you can tell me why do you think it was extremely Japanesy.
Because it had medieval castles, cities, weapons, armors, cloths, people, and some other very european stuff... it even had a broken coliseum.

I dont think you get what 'western" and "Japanese" means. It not just based on art direction as Japanese games can use western mythology in their games and vice versa. Its a game design thing. You can obviously tell that LoD was made by a Japanese developer. There is nothing western in LoD that turn Japanese gamers away. Western mythology and art have always been apart of Jrpgs. If they hated western looking games than RE,MGS, somes FF ext wold not exist.

I approve of this thread. I actually just replayed LoD since the summer is so dead on games. Game is still the bomb.

I dont even think a movement is necessary as I feel like that it will come this gen anywaz. A complete overhaul of the combat system is in order(which obviously will happen).
