Tagged! Legend of Dragoon is one of my most favorite game on PS1 era besides FF7, Crash Bandicoot, MGS, Spyro and Resident Evil. Remake, sequel or prequel; anything is fine with me.
I would imagine Japan Studios and Naughty Dog combined their ideas and working this title together, that would be awesome!! Come on SCE, make it happen!

Can't we aim at a cheaper remake for the vita first so they can make a PS4 sequel?

ahah! i was going to say that but then i think maybe a lot of gamers won't agree with me.

Dragoons on vita would be amazing, considering cheaper development costs on handheld than the consoles. It doesn't have to be 1080p 60 fps, its the gameplay that matters.

Sure, make a timed exclusive for the time being and if the sales are less than expected, port it into  PS3 and PS4!

LoD have a great following fanbase that would buy a Vita if haven't one to play it, and that would help Vita without a doubt...
BUT, the thing is, Vita is already a dying system, and LoD is not a very well known game too... so it's not a good ideia to join both to be honest, because even with LoD helping Vita to sell, it would make the game itself hidden again from the main audience eyes.

LoD suffered from a late release into PS1 era, with the PS2 already announced and to be released, and with the total domination of the market by Final Fantasy... I don't want it to be hidden again, I want it kicking the front door and yelling: HERE I AM B**CHES! With a full-fledged PS4 launch pushing Sony main system to it's limit, and now it's a really good time to do this.

Again, do it on Vita and I buy it without a doubt too xD
I just prefer it to be rocking on PS4.

Speaking of late arrival, take a look at God of War 2 released on PS2 in 2008 while PS3 is already 2 years old and it still managed to sold millions (can't remember how much). But then again maybe its PS3's fault for their development difficulties so....

Its the marketing tactics. Make a surprise announcement like they did with Grim Fandago at E3 but with some teaser trailer and show a 2nd trailer at Gamescom or TGS (since it comes from Japan) and they will get gamers attention, trust me. Later on, show some gameplay at E3 the next year with release date (or a bundle).

PS: hopefully my suggestion will reach into Shuhei's desk haha

Down for a LoD sequel!

There is a lot to point there.
God of War 2 was a sequel of a recently very well received and acclamed IP, it was predictable that it would be well received again.
Also, PS2 was a monster that sold 1/3 of it's pieces within PS3 already in the market, so not that difficult to one of the most expected games on it would sell well.

Also, yes, teasing it at E3 would have gone me go nuts xD
But it's shameful to see such a great game likely to be turning his 15th anniversary without even a single thing made except for the original game, really shameful. When it turned the 10th anniversary was already terrible, and the now the 15th too and nothing... I wonder if Sony have anything that prevent them from releasing something more of LoD, or they are just willing to try smaller projects over smaller projects that means no risk for them, but will likely bring no amazing possibilites also, until a luck one turn into something big and they can really profit from it. Same with The Last Guardian, they probably would have discarded it LONG ago if they hadn't already announced it.

Shameful indeed. Sony's 1st, 2nd and 3rd party studios are already plenty and 1000 indie developers are making their games for PS but Dragoons aren't 1 of them.

And if another RPG games i bet that Guerilla Games will show their project at Gamescom. There's a lot of rumors on internet about this.

Well the Last Guardian is technically Shuhei's fault for showing it too early and now look what happened. But i still hope its in development.......i hope.

Wait a minute.......thats it! Assign any indie developers for Dragoon game! With the Unreal Engine, Crytek Engine, Unity Engine or Sony-owned PhyreEngine, developing games would be a lot more easier. A Remake is a good start.

I would love this, could use a high end JRPG this gen.

Let me get in on this.

I have long given up on getting a sequel. It's time to move on.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Let's believe.

Maybe japan studio will do the game once they have enough ppl who finished their projects.
