Boom again!

Last month we reported that Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition will run at 900p on Xbox One. Thanks to a day-one patch that Blizzard has been working on, this is no longer the case. Once the patch is installed, the Ultimate Evil Edition will run at full 1080p, putting it on-par with the PS4 version of the game.

Earlier this week, it was also revealed that players who own Diablo 3 on PS3 and Xbox 360 will be able to transfer their saves to both Xbox One and PS4. The transfer process will even allow you to transfer your save from PS3 to Xbox One, or from Xbox 360 to PS4.

Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition, which includes the original game as well as the Reaper of Souls expansion, launches on August 19 for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Activision revealed during an earnings call earlier this week that Diablo 3 and the Reaper of Souls expansion have sold over 20 million copies to date.

This game is old.

You would hope so right?

The fact that it could barely get it to 1080p is a little worrying.

So to do PS3 to PS4 I need to create a Battle.net account to link my PSN account from one save file to the other?  Hope not too tricky.

Good to know.

But that's impossible. Games can't get better as devs learn the system and optimize. That's why Last of Us basically has the same graphics as the original Uncharted.

Great news for XB1 owners! I'm excited to be picking this up for the PS4 soon and play through it with the wife. I skipped it on PC and last gen so I'm sure I'm in for a treat!
