No one would be any better. Every president is gonna get screwed. Due all the compound problems and issues. Obama couldn't do all that much right. Even though everyone was cheering him on when he won office. Who ever wins is gonna have a sucky job.

It isn't the 90s anymore, where third-way "liberalism" was the only way to get Democrats elected. Perhaps she'll have moved on from such viewpoints.

I mean, Obama was pegged as a non-corporate liberal, and look how he turned out. Clinton could surprise in the opposite direction.

With this divided congress, I don't see how anyone would do well as a president. The conservative and liberal ideals have perhaps never been so far apart, which makes every single session headache inducing.

That being said, with a democrat in office (not necessarily Clinton), at least civil rights wouldn't be as much of an issue anymore. I can only imagine the shit this country will go through if the last 4 years of social progress gets thrown out the window because an ultra-religious conservative gets elected.

Economy wise, I think we're screwed either way. Congress loves spending, no matter it be republican or democrat.

Yes, but then again, so will whoever wins. The only candidate I actually liked, Rand Paul, is now backtracking on just about every position he ever had, which makes me doubt he'll adhere to any principals once he actually gets into office. So meh.
