Actually I I think PS4 2014 will look a heck of alot like PS3 2012-  Maybe makes Sep higher than Oct due to destiny but otherwise pretty spot on, I like this because the summer months are very similiar sales wise to this years PS4 summer sales.

ps4 wont be the biggest console in the usa holidays.

that will be the xbox one with halo mcc.

so we will see just normal good ps4 sales.

ps4 is maybe still the better console in some (or maybe even most) consumer minds, but it dont have any killer app to push sales to goodlike tier.

I think it will do around 13 million since all games such as Destiny,Farcry 3 and Cod:Aw which are coming out in this christmas period are coming out also on last gen consoles too. Gta 5 will not be that big of a seller any current gen owner at this stage has probably played it. I think the wii u will surprise us much more than the ps4.

It's called confidence!!! and to my defense, I have a good record in my predictions. And no, I don't bet money, but, I did say that if PS4 don't finish 2014 with 16-18 mill units SOLD, I will never make any predictions, about consoles sales, ever, I swear ....

And my question about how people expect PS4 to sell only 4-5m for the rest of the year (some people even say less) is very sincere. I really need someone to explain me that.

You really don't have a point and you're kinda losing your credibility be saying that the X1 will be the holiday leader in the US this year because of the MCC.

I'll happily bet you on that, the PS4 will reach at least 15 million by the end of the year.

weeker april, may, june sales and maybe july sales for ps4 frist year, vs ps3 second year.

why should the ps4 first year holiday should be soooo much better than ps3 second year holiday in that case? (relative increase wise)

It's not a new Halo, it's the old Halos, big difference.

And the reason that the PS4 will do much better than the PS3 in 2008 has 3 letters: U.S.A. that market is the most important one in the holidays. Go back and look at how poorly the PS3 did in the US back then, it sold a measily 175k in the US on black friday in 2008. The PS4 is going to absolutely crush that number, because, if you haven't noticed yet, the US is in love with the PS4.

Also we can bet for sig control or something.

This is just ridiculous. The PS4 will at the least pass 14 million.
