Thanks for the reminder, but I doubt I even have five games that I'm looking forward to. More like three.
So vote for 3, and I'll make a note for why the votes don't add up exactly. The first 3 are worth 12/15 points anyway (80%).
I need to make a change. I refuse to show support for The Evil Within after the announcement of a detailed singleplayer DLC season pass for an already delayed singleplayer game that almost no plot details are known about at time of said announcement. I am buying it used. $60 game sale lost due to $20 milking greed on my most anticipated 2014 game, and every other publisher that follows this practice can expect the same. F*** it. AC Unity is gone too. Getting it used. If it ends up where every game starts adopting singleplayer season passes I will never buy a new game ever again.
HAHA, I understand how you feel. I refused to buy Resident Evil 5 brand new for a similar reason (Day 1 DLC pre-loaded on the disk already). Thanks for that info, I was pretty interested in The Evil Within, now I'm going to wait for a Complete Edition.
I rarely buy games new anymore, there aren't many games which I want to play day 1 and of them most are RPG's. I find myself only getting games day 1 when there is a pre-order sale (Got Smash Bros WiiU for $45, Uncharted 4 for $50, XenoBlade for $55 and Pokemon for $35). Plus with stuff like Fallout, where you know $70 of DLC is coming, it's hard not to wait for a GOTY/Ultimate Edition.
Updated to here, we have a total of 990 points with 66 voters . The highest games on the tally (in alphabetical order to fool you) are:
Bayonetta 2 (WiiU)
Hyrule Warriors (WiiU)
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (PS4/XB1)
Persona 5 (PS3)
Pokemon OR/AS (3DS)
Super Smash Bros 4 WiiU
The Legend of Zelda (WiiU)
XenoBlade Chronciles X (WiiU)
But I gotta say, Vita is getting a LOT of support. Makes the 3DS support look so sad.
