I dislike water levels too. They've always irritated me. Mainly Mario games though. Zelda isn't nearly as bad, and the Water Temple in OOT was one of the most annoying, but fun temples. Water levels are just so cumbersome and slow. Beautiful sure, but annoying.

I hate water levels because they're generally slower >_>; I'm a major fan of mobility and well, water is a bit un-forgiving in that regard xD

I take it you haven't played the "Upriver" level in Uncharted then? A whole new beautiful meaning to "water level" with gorgeously animated water, although rather tricky.

 But thats not really a "Water Level" :P Driving boats or jet-ski's doesn't count! But yes I agree, definitely gorgeous to every aspect of the word ;)

WW is on a 1.5 GB disc, and it's not amazing. It's just a relatively empty field of water for the majority of the map. That takes virtually no space. And no talent. Also, if that counts as a water stage then it's the worst I have EVER played.

Aren't GC discs like 4.5 GBs?

@RCT

There was no Water Temple in TWW.
