Sad day for traditional animation. With Pixar and DreamWorks success and Disney switching to 3D there really is no 2D animation studios can expect to release films with major marketing. Shame as I adore many Ghibli films.

Buy Ghibli and make to work on an animated Mario movie, advance wars, fire emblem, fzero, pikmin animes/movies... I know I'd rather have Ghibli doing their usual things, but before closing their anime studio I would rather seeing thier talent preserved. |
And the list of things that Nintendo should just buy grows longer.
That sucks. They made some great movies, but their most recent movies were kinda boring.
SERIOUSLY!? Nooooo I love just about all their movies. My day is ruined.

Yeah but that means laying off all employees which is the worst part. Even if after a while they decide to reopen because they get investors or whatever they'll have to hire new employees unless the previous ones didn't get a job in the meantime.
