I like the trailers.
But I thought it was to weird to sell like that. Apparently Disney can push anything these days.

Its a phenomenal movie, realy Im not gona say its the best Marvel movie ever cause I have a hard time deciding beteween this, Captain America the Winter Soldier and the Avengers but its definetly up there.

Really good movie. Watched it together with some friends in 2D, my local theater didn't screen it in 3D at the premiere.

Yep.

Really? This movie's actually good? I've been thinking it would be well below mediocre ever since I saw the 1st trailer.

yeah the film is currently on Rotten Tomatoes its currently the highest rated Comic Book/Super Hero film of the year out beating Xmen Day's Of Futures Past by 1 percent

Well, I still haven't seen X-Men either (I plan to though), but I might check this one out then! Although the dressed-up raccoon and the awkward green chick put me off.

Just got back from seeing it. What an excellent film! A reveal towards the end of the movie removed the only complaint I was going to have. It's a comical adventure film with a great main cast (except for Gamora who is forgettable).

Well it didn't do it Transformers 4 made over 5 million more its opening weekend. Also Guardians didn't do so great overseas either considering that it already opened in most major foreign markets and in a lot of them it already opened on the 31st. But there is still hope for a major boost from the overseas market since it opens in China on September 5th doubt it will come close to making Transformer 4 type money there though.

Its doing incredible overseas. Its global opening weekend was only 9 million less than Winter Soldier and that had a recognizable main hero and multiple Avengers in it like Cap, Nick Fury, and Black Widow.

guardians is THE home run of the summer without question.

Went to go watch it on Friday. Great movie and action.

I'm glad that it got good reviews. I read the comics for it and I'm going to go see it today.

Movie is great. I predict it will continue doing well due to good word of mouth. It won't be as front loaded as most summer blockbusters.

The home run of the summer regrettably is Transformers 4 which just past the 1 billion mark world wide in large part to the 500 million plus it made in North America and China alone.
