Destiny has the most hype. Being a New IP from Bungie and having successful Alpha and Beta testing periods. Destiny is the first Bungie game to be on a PlayStation console in a loooooong time, so that's given it even more hype. It's also the first big multiplat next-gen FPS since the lacklustre COD:Ghosts and BattleFail4 titles that launched with PS4 and XBO. Destiny will sell like hotcakes and its pre-orders are way ahead of the following 3 games.

Evolve won some Best of E3 awards and has a unique concept. It's made by the original L4D team and plays somewhat similar, with a heavy focus on co-op. This game flat out looks like a lot of fun, but I'm not sold on it's longevity. Since it relies heavily on a community, even for enemies, one has to wonder how big that community will be when it's releasing right before COD and FC4. Will this game still be worth playing a year after it comes out? It might get lost in the shuffle amongst the big boys.

COD:AW same old same old? I think so. It doesnt look like a big leap, considering the next-gen hardware. I was hoping for more. It's not being handled by Treyarch or Infinity Ward so it's quality is a bit unknown, but we can all guess exactly what this game will be like. Ghosts was a bit disappointing and COD in general may be on a downward trend. I'm not seeing a lot of hype for this game at all. But even so, it's still COD and it's going to sell a sh*tload.

Far Cry 4 is a darkhorse here with Battlefield not releasing this year and COD being a new subtitle from an unproven developer. If FC4 turns out to be as good as FC3, Ubisoft may be able to take advantage and steal some fans. FC3 was a pleasant surprise and hopefully Ubisoft can build off that and improve it even more. The PS4 exclusive "Keys to Kyrat" is a unique feature that let's people play the game for free if their friend sends them an invite. I wonder if that will hurt the sales at all. It's personally my most wanted game this year.

Which of these games are you getting? What kind of sales do you think they will have? Rank them in order of which will get the best reviews.

I feel like Cod will still sell the most followed by Destiny then Far Cry 4 followed by Evolve (But if Destiny outsells cod, then I will be happy)

Oh and I probably won't be getting any of them tbh but I will be playing a few of them at my friends house

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

I'm getting Destiny for sure. May or may not get Evolve. Gotta look more into it. COD is a no. Far Cry I might get when it's cheaper.

Has there ever been a bungie game on a playstation platform?

Destiny will sell the most and have the best reviews
Call of duty will sell barely less than destiny, average reviews and worst of the four
Far cry will have the third best reviews, third in sales.
Evolve will have the second best reviews, last in sales

I agree with this.

"Oni" was developed by Bungie for PC. It was ported to PS2 by another developer in 2001.

Still, that was before Bungie was really Bungie. They were just a small studio back then. It was before their Halo days and they've grown so much and gotten a much bigger budget since then.

evolve seems very interesting.

I am getting Far Cry, it's my most anticipated game this year. Although it is a FPS, I've never considered it as such, as it offers an open world with sidequests, so I rather like to treat it as a FPSandbox :)
I was very hyped for Destiny, but it just seems to require a lot of committment, and a lot of interaction with others, which I don't care for. Might get it at an eventual sale, to play the single player portion.
No interest in other two.

Sales wise, Evolve will flop, its online only, and actually just a L4D versus mode. I couldn't justify paying $60 for it.
The other three will do very well.

I will be getting Destiny (Ghosts Edition) and waiting till Christmas for Evolve. I am unsure about COD, I'm still upset I bought the hardened edition with a season pass that does nothing for me when I haven't played it in months(only did to play with my sister...though it is the first one that has me interested in the campaign (love Kevin Spacey in HoC). I never had any interest in the Far Cry franchise. I think Destiny will end up with the highest sales and metacritic score.

Make it So.

I am tempted to get Destiny but since MCC comes out, it might have to wait until January :).
