The person you encountered sounds like a terrible person. I've kinda met someone kinda like that. He's someone that claims to be unbiased but is clearly a Sony fan since he's always defending them. And he used to accuse me of being a huge Xbox fan so now I just ignore him.

And there is always the other side that maybe you could be displaying a behaviour that made the user go after you? And people tend to make judgement about the others with really small sample data.
