Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Nintendo elaborates on why Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker was delayed in Europe

Makes sense I guess...

Because Nintendo hates Europe.

OT: That makes zero sense in reality, but it makes sense that it makes sense to Nintendo.

It kinda makes sense I guess, because NoE is not really in the best shape right now... In any case, I wasn't going to buy Captain Toad this year, so the delay doesn't really bother me..

Makes sense but is unacceptable.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Least that means that Smash Bros is still confirmed for holiday 2014! So thats good news

They fired almost all their European staff (an offer to move into another federal state to keep the job is almost the same as firing) and cannot handle a release in time. I would not wonder if games like Xenoblade will be entirely skipped because they do not have the resources to handle all the translations.

I guess that's fair. Its not much of big deal though since the game probably won't sell well.
