Great, now ljigga copied my picks right down to the MNF spread. I am not in the mood to be tied with him for a second week in the row.

You guys are really jackasses and leave me no choice. Settling for sixth place doesn't sound bad considering my position after week 8, but it would also be a pretty lame way to finish the season; being sixth or tenth won't make a significant difference, but being sixth or top 5 will. So I can either pick the Giants or the Falcons or both, but I like the Giants' chances more and really don't want to root for a Falcons win. So a Giants upset in St. Louis it is. I'll have to trust Eli and his offense to not turn the ball over, that should be enough to win this one; the Rams offense isn't one that scores a lot of points.

I will be devastated if the Falcons win and the Giants lose.

If you really want to, PM me your predictions and I will keep them safe and confirm them for the others when the games are done.

Edit - And Im not overly happy with my Browns pick.

I think I will keep it up though, just because I need some luck in catching up to MTZehvor and I have no faith.

Hmmm apparently the Titans are interested in Cutler, wonder if Chicago is really going to release him.

8. Unless the Saints totally blow it tonight, they are the better pick for this NFC South showdown.
12. The Giants have a chance here if they manage to stuff the Rams offense. Really a toss-up.

Haha, lots of freaky games today. Houston winning 16-0, Chicago slowing Detroit down pretty good (while moving on their vaunted defense with a backup QB haha), Miami getting straight punked, Jets up on the Pats, just good times all around.

Man that Lions defensive lineman intentionally stepped on a downed Bear, and didn't get ejected from the game. The announcers are saying he'll probably get fined, but that's a slap on the wrist. He needs to be banned for the year, and fines need to start being 1/2 of the player's salary for any clear examples of intentionally injuring someone.

The Lions are a dirty club, so no surprise.

Bears jump in front. I hope I lose my pick on this game and the Lions get karma slapped for playing like dirtbags. Trying to hurt someone on purpose (after a play was over no less) and potentially end their career should come with serious consequences.

Awful set of results so far.

Ok it was funny when the crowd at Pittsburgh were chanting refs you suck, now it's just becoming annoying.

I've never been so happy for a Panthers' win in my life.

And I will be an equally big Cowboys' supporter tonight. Go Dallas.

best surprise result of the day is Houston manhandling Baltimore. J.J . Watt deserves the Most Valuable Player award.
