can some1 tell me, why the seahawks have a wild Card spot, while Dallas is just in the hunt.
Dallas won the tiebreak game vs seattle

Seahawks are 6-2 in the NFC while Dallas is only 5-4.

okay, but i thought this

TO BREAK A TIE FOR THE WILD-CARD TEAM

If it is necessary to break ties to determine the two Wild-Card clubs from each conference, the following steps will be taken.

  1. If the tied clubs are from the same division, apply division tie breaker.
  2. If the tied clubs are from different divisions, apply the following steps.

Two Clubs

  1. Head-to-head, if applicable.
  2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.

Looks like nfl.com is going by the second option over the head to head between Dallas and Seattle. All I know is that the Cowboys better beat the Bears on Thursday.

Hey uh, Bill Belichick?

I realize you want to establish ground rules for the team and all,

But it'd be really nice to see Jonas Gray some time this century again

I mean he did go for 4 touchdowns and almost 200 yards last time

Sincerely, some guy

As a fan of both Rodgers and Brady (gotta respect the top of the top!), this is a fantastic game so far!

So can someone watching the NE-GB game explain that illegal use of hands penalty on Browner to me? The receiver was well within five yards, and he shoved him on the shoulder exclusively...

His hand made contact with the facemask, after the receiver turned.  Slips don't matter.  Ticky tack, for sure, but they've been calling those bullshit penalties all year, so teams should be used to it by now.  Of course, the refs conveniently misssed Raiola's fist to Zach Moore's face last week, and to the back of his head, and Gronk getting mugged on the Brady interception, but hey, refs can't be expected to pay attention to BOTH teams, now can they?  The more concerning thing is the flag for 12 men on the field, when there were only 11 men on the field, and then refs not getting in position fast enough.

Battle of the Birds is favoring ATL right now. Nice. ARI has overflown their actual merits vs. the league. They are good. They are not 9-2 good, or even close to it.

WOW JORDY NELSON! NICE :D

This is an awesome game. The two best NFL teams by far right now imho. Superbowl preview.

Three redzone trips, three field goals. Reminds me of a certain other game earlier today, but hopefully this one has a happy ending.

Wow Edelman is dinged. Well, I don't think you have a whole lot to worry about. GB's defense has been holding NE to less than FGs most of the time so far ;)

For sure you can never count NE out of it unless it's down to 2 minutes with more than 8 points, or 5 minutes and 16 points out. But I have a great feeling about my GB pick on this one.

As a Falcons fan, I can't believe I actually bet against them.

Well, everyone in the world expected ARI to win, mostly based on their ridiculous record. I should have started picking against them earlier. I think SEA will make a mockery of them again next time they meet.
