There are lot of new games that are going to entice people and batter at the gates of their psyche to get them to buy a console.  And while eventually we'll all be won over by our respective console(s), there are some consoles that just don't have the games we desire - or at least enough to warrant a purchase.

But what about those games that we know will never happen?  Those nostalgic dreams we get goosebumps over that we'd pay $60 at least to experince?  These are games that will (probably) never happen but are so fun to think about it makes you physically ill to come back to reality... ahem.  The type of game(s) that you'd buy any console for.

For me, that game would be a Secret of Mana remake.  It'd be a no brainer, day-one perchase for me.

Elder Scrolls 6

Nothing. Sorry, won't invest several hundreds buck on one machine for a single game.

Edit: Won't waste my time going back and playing PS2 games or cheap consoles like that. I'll play/buy and HD remake though

There's no question that Elder Scrolls 6 is coming and it'll be om PS4, Xbox one, and PC, those games just take a while to make. In 20 years there have been 5 main games and then 2 spinoffs early on.

I'd buy a system just to play Shenmue 3, FF 7 remake, Dark Cloud 3, Chrono sequel, Legend of Dragoon 2, or The Last Guardian.

Edit: oh and  a proper sequel to the original Final Fantasy Tactics.

Super Mario RPG 2 (by Square-Enix)
