sorry of there is already a thread for this, but i was wondering what you guys think this game is going to do for the ps4? my guess is that 130-150k ps4s will sell the week that it launched. what do you guys think?

Probably it will not go above 150k. The game will sale well but I don't think it will push many consoles, seeing as it is still available and cheaper on PS3.

I don't think it's going to pick up sales a whole lot. It will do an extra 20000 or so, but not much beyond that. Many of the people that want to play the game have already done so on the PS3. While it's a great game there isn't much beyond the graphics improvement to sell consoles, but it would be a great game to get if someone hasn't played it already. The original only sold 4.6 million copies. I don't mean that is bad, cause it isn't, but it's still no Halo or Mario Kart, plus it's a re-release after only a year.

I will say 140k. Would be happy to be wrong of course.

Have no idea about ps4 sales but I'm sure TLOU sold very well. A lot of people is playing it on twitch.

thats what im thinking. i believe we are not looking at another watch dogs week.

Let's see if vgchartz makes adjustments to the PS4s sales and if so how much those will affect the systems baseline before predicting that.

I personally don't see TLOU:R as a massive system seller but it should give another push to a system that doesn't really need one.

150K seems like a reasonable prediction. I assume a fair amount of non PS3 owners who have a PS4 now will be picking up the game as this drought of games is becoming quite unbearable (for me at least).

OT though.. good point. we have to know exactly what the baseline is before predicting. even just considering vgc numbers, its jumped around 100-120k

Pretty much. Ports don't tend to pull that kind of movement, where as Watch Dogs was a new release and extremely hyped.
