Ofcourse it should be legal since it is legal for men. I am personally for no restriction on clothing at all, why shouldn't a person be allowed to go nude if they want to?

Breasts will probably always be sexualized though, simply because they are used for intimate thing in a way a mans breast is not. Then again, it can always change, but sexualizing body part is hardly a bad thing.

In NYC it is legal for women to be topless in public as long as they are not selling anything (i.e. themselves, books, food, etc).

TBH I would be afraid of seeing a 70 year old woman walk in public...

It's already legal here and I haven't seen one topless woman on the streets.

The law should apply equally to both genders. If men can, women should be able to as well. Of course if this becomes commonplace there is going to be a transition period for those of us men who have grown up in a country where a woman's breasts are overly sexualized, but after a while, it should become normal. Similar to how it is in other areas of the world.

I don't see why not. Sure, most women will probably still choose to wear their tops and that's fine, but I don't see why they should be legally prevented from doing so if they wanted to. Just seems like an outdated law to me.
