I got the full version of the first season but I've barely played it. Waiting for more characters. It's a solid game though I prefer Ultra Street Fighter IV.

One of the main reasons to have an Xbox IMO. If you are a fighting fan especially. This game doesn't get mentioned alot when ppl talk about exclusive Xbox games but this thing is marvelous. All Killer Instinct fans from the past should try it out. It's what was asked for but I believe they have outdone any expectations.

I agree.  It's VERY well made.  I just need more characters and possibly a story mode before I sink my teeth into it.  After Season 2, I'll go online full time for a fighting game fix.

Amazing game, it just needs some time to be fleshed out completely with a story, some more modes and fighters.

They have story mode now. Arcade mode with a little story after you finish it.

I might have to jump in tonight, then.  Story mode is what I usually play until I'm confident enough to go online.

believe it or not, there are plenty of fans of the original that very much dislike this game. they say its like the Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts of the KI franchise.

I don't know.  Nuts and Bolts took what fans liked and totally went another direction.  Killer Instint is still a fighting game with great mechanics at its core.  Hell, it even gives you the original KI if you buy the full version.  My personal opinion doesn't equal the world but my disappointment is that, when KI first came out in 1994, nothing in the world looked better to me.  KI on the Xbox One looks about average.  I wanted to be wowed.  As for the actual game, I haven't seen anybody bash it that's played it.
