When they are winning, they have no incentive to "try". They can roll out a couple meaningful firmware updates a year, take a couple years to truly start releasing their best exclusives, overcharge for PS Now, introduce the multiplayer paywall, and now deciding FOR their customers by refusing options from EA.........and they will be loved for it.

I know this because the thrill/high of "selling more" compensated for any corporate laziness I lived through in gen 7. What did I care so long as PS3 was last place right? The 360 games played better, more fun was had, just from the knowledge that someone else was in last place.

Now the tables are turned. PS fans couldn't care less how complacent Sony gets. They are #1 and that's all that matters right?

I think both consoles are lacking in exclusives. However, seeing Sony's trackrecord and their stable of studio's, I am sure they will do a better job at delivering than Microsoft. Also, Sony has also added 3D blu ray support, but where they could really win some points IMO is with 4k content. 4k Tv's are hot right now and Sony is one of the few companies on the planet with a shitload of 4k content. Right now you can only watch it on Sony 4k tv's if you buy a $600 mediaplayer. But people like me who bought a 4k tv would love to have that content on the ps4.

Do us a favor and explain this "complacency" for us. Then explain how they are doing less than MS is doing now and moving forward into 2015.

Me? I know I already have money down on 2 big AAA exclusive titles coming in the 1st qtr 2015 alone for PS4 (Bloodborne and The Order). This follows up my holiday of a nice FREE Driveclub game (Complacent companies give titles away I guess. I LIKE IT!!) & Destiny having exclusive content to ensure PS4 is the best place to play it. This is on top of PS4 having the most games available to play, because you know, Indies do in fact count.

What you got coming guaranteed for qtr 1 2015 to follow up the holiday season? Then afterwards we can move forward from there, since I am pretty sure Sony and their exclusive Baseball franchise will finally be built from the ground up for the PS4 this time, which will be exciting for a Baseball fan like me, although MLB 14 is in fact a good game. I enjoy it.

Hey Toasboy, since you know full well how many people are interested in Driveclub, please let us know how many are lining up for Sunset Overdrive.

I would acknowledge Forza, but you know, it's on 360 right? I would include MCC, but you know, half those games are on 360 too, so it must be like half an exclusive or something or however the rules will be bent for this since it seems the rules bend on a daily basis around here, just like console pros and cons.
