This is a very wierd thread. In this thread I am going to discuss the extend you showed your fanboyism to a certain brand or company. It can be anything.

So why wait. Here is mine.

Epitome:

I have successfully converted "many" of my die hard Xbox 360 fans into PS4 owners. Among these there is a friend who is a super halo fan. He idolizes master chief. But I struck their fanboyism with DRM issue and games. He was very impressed how PS3 pumped out good games even at the end of its life cycle. He now regrets after seeing master chief collection. But the last of us remastered has reduced his grief a little bit. He plans to get Xbox One next year though.

But many friends are still in pipeline. These guys wont buy a new system unless there are many good games in it. There is a good chance that many of these guys will be getting PS4. Thanks to me and my PS4 "priest" team (aka friends). Lol.

Big failure:

One of my friend is a forza fan. When he was in Bangladesh I told him to get PS3 a lot of times. He was somehow reluctant. But later he said he will get one. Last year he went to USA with green card and purchased PS3 from gamestop. I told him to get PS4. But thanks to Evolution studios delay and gamestop emplyees pushing he took Xbox One with Forza 5. Curse you guys.

So what about you guys?

PS: The purpose of this thread is not to mock anyone. But to share funny experiences. I want to see how people showed their love to a certain brand through their actions.

I tried to convince one of my friends to buy an Ouya. It didn't work.

I've unsuccessfully tried to get my friends to purchase a 360 so I have people to play with, instead to be carrying the console or switching consoles if I want to play Geometry Wars 2 with buddies :(

Every friend that my eldest kid has brought home, they've come with the false impression that Nintendo have gone bust and the Wii U is a baby toy that has been discontinued, Xbox and PS are far better. They play the games and I answer any questions they have about the console.

Every one of them has gone home pestering their parents for a Wii U.

Big Failure

I tried to convince one of my friends to get a Wii U after their Wii finally gave up the ghost, but all the negative hype at the time put him off. He ended up getting an X360 for his kids.

Get a PS3 / PS4 for youself. Problem solved. Lol.

But I can't play Geometry Wars 2 on a Ps3 ;)

But PS3 has better games than these.
