Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Wii U shows up again in COD:AW website code

I wonder who would develop it tho. Sledgehammer Games (PS4 and XB1), High Moon (PS3 and Xbox 360) or Treyarch?

No need for that. Activision is one of the few third parties who actually do give a shit.

They are giving a shit by not porting Destiny to the WiiU? Besides, I'd be much happier if a better 3rd party publisher would give a shit about the WiiU..

I'm at grovel level. I'll take nearly any support and not being the lone platform to not get COD would be nice, besides I'm not afraid to admit I enjoy CODs. I own them all in fact I own Black Ops 2 and Ghosts twice Wii U and 360. COD is not a bad game to have as part of your library. You can do incredibly worse. Franchise fatigue or the haters out there, COD is an insanely popular series even if it's legs are wobbling a bit now.

Why do they wait to announce it? I mean, why waste the time and money porting it if you're gonna go out of your way to hide its existence?

Well, good for you if you enjoy CoD and if you're glad that Advanced Warfare might come out for the WiiU, but I'm not really in the same boat! :-/

I undestand. if anyone wrings a series dry and beats you over the head with it its Activision. However, for me, its still a guilty pleasure - lol.

It's totally OK, man! We all have our gaming-related guilty pleasures!

Since this is basicly all this team has been doing, porting Call of Duty

Yep. For the last 6 years straight they've been doing it; World at War, Modern Warfare Reflex, Black Ops, Modern Warfare 3, Black Ops II, Ghosts. They're a dedicated Wii/Wii U team of (at the time of Ghosts anyway) 38 guys.

I might buy it just to support them again (not really a CoD fan, gave Ghosts a chance but it wasn't that good) and to laugh at how I'm the only one buying the Wii U version haha

You won't be; me and WiiU-Dude are getting it as well. So it'll sell at least 3 copies! ;)

Now we just wait for Dr. "Have That Seat" Tre to post about it

Is there a reason why the Wii U versions of games like this aren't announced until way after the initial announcement for PlayStation and Xbox?

Am I missing something here?

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
