irstupid said: two reason for me. 1. I know they are ripping me off insanely when i sell back a game. Only time I sell to them instead of elsewhere or just giving game away for free is when clearing out old catalog of useless games and lazy, so guess better than garbage. But still, just the though. 2. The judgingness of its employees. Seriously if your not in the correct section of whatever fanboy flag the employee has going on he looks at your like your an idiot and tries to sway you to buy said system or asks why you like said system, ect. Hell I hate when ANY employee asks me if I need help. If I need help I will find you. But the judginess of gamestops employees amps up the annoyingness of employees asking if you need help to 11. |
Not everyone who works at Gamestop flies under a console banner. There are people there just trying to work a job and make money.
I very rare, if ever run into these terrible workers I hear so much about. It also a store employees job to ask if a customer needs help. It's meant as a courtsey, nothing more. Simply say "no thanks" and they'll leave you be.

Yea and i hate that they have to ask if you need help. I think all guys hate that. It's the difference between guys and girls shopping. 99% of the time when guys go shopping they know what they want before they leave the house. They don't just go to browse.
Strangely enough the only times i'm ever in gamestop (besides selling junk games to clear space) is to just browse. I'm need to waste time for whatever reason and thus just browse to see if some random game or deal catchs my eye. But again this is another insance of where an employee could not help me. I have no idea what i'm looking for so how could he/she?
The console banner flying may not be always true, but the fact htat gamestop stores are so tiny even if they have already been told "no thanks" they are still only like 10 feet away and pretty much watching you. It bugs the hell out of me.
