Sony will be releasing their Playstation Now BETA to the public tomorrow in North America for all PS4 users and is set to start with 100 games.
Previously announced during the follow up to the Open BETA, Sony is looking to offer a subscription service for it’s game streaming service “PlayStation Now” when interviewed by IGN, Senior Director Jack Buser had this to say:
“We’re working diligently to bring a subscription option to gamers to compliment our rental offering for PlayStation Now,” said Buser. “We believe that offering both of these options would provide gamers the freedom to discover and play games in ways that weren’t before possible.”
Unfortunately Buser couldn’t provide details on when we should expect a service like this to become available and was very clearly noting that nothing is “Set in stone” Pricing for the current rentals on Playstation Now are still fluctuating and it has been said that Sony will be looking for feedback from the users throughout the open BETA, so far we have heard that some games will be priced as low as $1.99 which comes in at $1 cheaper than the current closed BETA prices however as stated previously, nothing is set in stone and everything is subject to change.
