People seem to forget that ps2 was selling better then xbox and xbox360 and ps4 is selling like PS2 so X1 has no chance to win in USA,one games won't change anything



PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

OT, the sales margin between the two in US is really close. Its actually possible for the xbox one to turn the tides in a month (like the month of Halo:MCC or Halo5) temporarily at least.

700K units is actually quite a lot.
If the XB1 randomly (using June's numbers) started selling 140k more to outsell the PS4 by 70k units. It would still take 10 months of that conistently. What the thread is saying there is no reason for this trend to change. Destiny is going to be huge especially in north america with the white PS4 coming out. Only chance it has is when Halo comes out. But there would already be so many PS4's that people will get what their friends have with Uncharted 4.

This is the day for which I was waiting every day since PS3 launch. PS4 hasnt won it but its on course. This gen PS4 will rule over Xbox One and Wii U.

I do not think US is beyond Microsoft's reach, I think it will be very close for years to come there.

Europe, on the other hand, is done. Japan is looking increasingly to be a minor player even if Microsoft fails there.

The PS4 is winning, and looks to continue doing so, but it certainly hasn't won yet. Things are still close enough that one gaming changing (heh) event over the next few years could still swing things the other way.

Its really early in the gen and it's actually pretty close in the US. No doubt Sony has had control the last few months the consoles have been on the market but anything can happen.

And anyone saying "Wait for Halo 5" same can be said for Sony when Uncharted 4 releases. Xbox can take US but it wont happen just because of Halo.
