Damn, I can't stop gushing over Kemurikusa. It has such a strong Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou vibe and I love it. Step aside Kaguya, we have a new AOTS.

This must be a good place to ask this question! Hi Guys I’m a big DB/DBZ Fan, I’ve picked up all the new bluray of DB Super(up to volume 6)I heard however that the beginning is basically a recap of Battle of the gods/ resurrection f. My question is, what episode does that arc finish and can I skip to it without missing anything important or did they add in relevant information?

Lost Song on Netflix, wow what a masterpiece. If you haven't watched it yet, don't miss out on this little gem.

Kemurikusa is really good.  It's nice to watch anime that feels like genuine science fiction rather than the usual "tropes dressed up as science fiction."  It's legitimately interesting and draws me in like a good science fiction story, where I'm discovering new pieces of the puzzle as the characters move forward.  It's that same level of imagination that makes me scared for the lives of the characters.  It doesn't feel predictable or safe.

And I can't help but root for them.

(I wonder if anyone got that)

Shield Hero has been such a pleasant surprise. Outside of Jojo's, it's my favorite ongoing anime because it's basically a better Goblin Slayer.

Earlier I got hyped up for Goblin Slayer because multiple friends told me it's like Berserk, but basically after the first episode it got too generic so I didn't even finish the first season.

Also enjoying Magical Girl Spec Ops Asuka although I would certainly rate Shield Hero higher.

I loved Lucky Channel so much.  A talk show sub-anime that's intended to be about the primary anime but where one of the host trashes the main characters or ignores the primary anime completely is kind of an awesome thing.

Man apparently I haven't posted in a while, this new posting box looks a lot different. I even see a Twitter icon!

The season is almost over, what are your overall thoughts? Great season? Meh season? Offensively bad season?

It looks like I'll end with 11 shows overall, so definitely a strong season for me.

Great!!

BanG Dream - Season 2
Kaguya-sama
Mob Psycho - Season 2
My Roommate is a Cat
The Promised Neverland

Good!!

That Time I was Reincarnated as a Slime
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure - Golden Wind
Hinomaru Zumou

Okay!!

Black Clover
3D Kanojo - Season 2
Shield Hero

The last two fell a bit for me, Shield for kinda forgetting its core premise and making its MC awesome, 3D Kanojo for some extremely heavy melodrama. I might change my tune on this one next week though...I liked the focus on the side couples this season had.

Biggest surprises are definitely My Roommate is a Cat and BanG Dream. The first is really well done SoL about a cat owner (an extremely relatable one for me). BanG Dream has just been...amazing all around. Basically everything I wanted and then some. Already hyped for season 3 and season 2 hasn't even ended!

It was a chill season, in general for me 2019 will be a chill year, compared to the sheer quantity of shows I'm into I got last year.

Endro! was a cute, chill comedy. Feel good show with some nice RPG gags.

Today Manaria Friends finished and man, it was like everything a shipper could want out of a show, just 10 episodes of pure chemestry between Anne and Grea, they managed to put across their relationship so well with such a short timeframe, absolute gem for me, amazing slice of life. And all my respect and love for Owen, the one true gay ally for taking care of the lesbians in their many adventures.

I'm going to wait a little bit to watch Mob S2, see if Crunchy makes a spanish dub for it like they did with S1.

Talent.  Pure talent.
