Last ep of LWA was freaking amazing. It had everything. Super cliched story, lots of slapstick, perfect reaction faces, action, romance and even heaps of character development for multiple characters. It's inching closer to the 10 again.

Also, 2 loli animes

One by the creators of Ro-Kyu-Bu! called Tenshi no 3P! which will air in the summer.

http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2017/03/12/preview-looks-ahead-to-summers-tv-anime-adaptation-of-loli-pop-comedy-tenshi-no-3p

"The Tenshi no 3P! light novels are published by ASCII Media Works under their Dengeki Bunko label. Described as a "loli pop comedy", the story focuses on Kyō Nukui, a high school student who often skips school in order to secretly compose songs using Vocaloid software. One day, Kyō is contacted by three 5th grade girls who want him to help them produce music."

And the other one, Mitsuboshi Colors, a short-form comedy manga by Katsuwo about a trio of elementary school girls who form a secret club dedicated to protecting the peace of the city of Ueno (at least until the sun goes down). Being animated by Silver Link, not sure if it will be normal length or a short yet.

Holy hell. We really need more animes with little girls.  Gone are the times with awesome stuff like Ichigo Mashimaro, Hanamaru Youchien and Mitsudomoe.

I got myself a 2 week vacation last week of March and first of April to tackle my current 70 episodes of season backlog. I hope I can reduce it to 60 or even 50 by the end of next week.

you cant watch 70 in a week? lightweight.

Not if I also want to work and game. Life would be so simple if it wouldn't constantly attack me with those useless things. Also don't forget I get over 20 new episodes every week. That means I will have to watch around 100 episodes of this season within 2 weeks.

Just one more reason not to pay for Crunchyroll

https://medium.com/@Daiz/crunchyrolls-reduced-video-quality-is-deliberate-cost-cutting-at-the-expense-of-paying-customers-c86c6899033b#.lxil3z5lk

Crunchyroll has put out a short official statement regarding the reduced video quality, which doesn’t actually say all that much. And while they do make the promise to fix things in the future, right now nothing has actually changed — the vast majority of content on Crunchyroll is still available in vastly reduced quality only, and new episodes continue to be converted over to the reduced quality format mere 48 hours after airing. Pirates are still getting better video quality than paying customers.

Hope Crunchy fixes that issue quickly. People are paying for it after all, I did use their free trial and it wasn't half bad of a service, but I don't think it's worth it enough for me to pay a sub for it.

This is more gaming related, but 5pb. is going to make a KonoSuba game :D

This is basically the first anime series I've watched and completed and I really like it

Will write up a proper recommendation later :p

Madoka Magica was awesome. I think it had the most surprising and memorable change of tone in that awesome and shocking moment (I think you remember THAT moment). Before that, I thought it was a generic "magical girls" anime. But when that happened, my jaw dropped to the ground. What the hell was that? Truly memorable.

You're talking about episode 3?

I started watching this again the other day with a girl I recently started going out with, and realized just how smart this series is. The entire first episodes, and the opening, are designed to be as sugary as possible. The beginning is completely moe, and sickeningly sweet. The tone change is so well orchestrated, with small doubts planted here and there, and then completely reversing your understanding of all the characters by the end.

There are shows and movies where you get to the end and find out a twist that changes the narrative to the point where watching it again gives you a different perspective on character motivations. Magi Puella does this in a way that not only changes your understanding of the characters, but makes you realize that all the sugar you see in the first episode is actually belied by a massive cavity. Not many narratives have that ability.

Mmm saw that. No platforms yet, but PS4 and Vita are a given imo.  I'm guessing it'll be a visual novel, which is fine, since the characters are so good they can translate well to it and keep the game engaging with their banter.

KonoSuba 2 season finale was lit, but it really botched the ending... :/

In the LN, the town actually realizes that Aqua descended into their world while the adaptation the town kicking her out. Yunyun also barged into the mansion and asked Kazuma to marry her while the adaptation just had her challenging Megumin to a dual.
