Gotta post this nice OP here because I think it's the least appreciated anime this season.

Also to highlight the pretty awesome song

Of all that I've seen from those great shows like GoT or Breaking Bad it seemed fairly standard fare. It's not about the lowest qualities but what hight a medium can reach. I think I've seen the top of tv shows but none of that comes even close to the best of anime. Show me one tv show that's as epic as Kill La Kill, as funny as Azumanga Daioh or as twisted as Higurashi.

I'm not blaming tv though, that medium simply does not have the creative ability to compete with anime's unlimited potential.

I'm half way through Kill La Kill.  The first few episodes I was like, "What the hell is this garbage?"  But now it's been a very pleasant surprise.  When you finally understand the premises and recognize how the art style work with the stroytelling, you'll see that the whole thing has been ingenious.

Sounds like you need to get more familiar with Imaishi's works. That man can't fail and if you enjoy Kill La Kill you should check out all his other animes as well.

Sorry, I'm a little late with the poll, had some exhausting few days.

Anyways, Crusch won the last poll with Felt and Emilia really close behind.

This week's poll is anime with the best tournament arc(s).

Hi. I played the first two Danganronpa games and just recently heard there's an anime for the third that follows afterwards. I looked it up and saw that there were two versions (Mirai-hen and Zetsubou-hen). One appears to have Makoto as the lead, while the other has Hajime as the lead.

So, what I came to ask is should I be watching both versions and if so, what order? Should I be watching simultaneously? Thanks in advance.

Yeah I've been watching it since the second episode came out. One of the only shows I'm not behind in this season. It does seem like a lot of people don't really now about it, which is a shame because it's very good.

Yea, watch it simultaneously, one episode of Mirai-hen then one of Zstsubou-hen, since both are connected in some way explaining backstories and arcs of characters that appear in both.

Ok.  Thank you.  I'll probably start it up tomorrow morning.

God dammit. This is the first Aria reference I've seen in Amanchu and now I fear that I've missed so much more :(

Best Tournament Arc?

Saki.

So dramatic.  So many high-school girl badasses.  More importantly, most of the time you have no clue who is going to win a match or who is going to move on to the next round.  That's tough because the writer invests you in almost everyone.  Sometimes I'm really torn about who I pull for.
