What's everybody going to be finishing off in they're backlog list this season? For me it's just Ghost In The Shell: AA and the 2015 Film, also Shomin Sample. That's really good considering I finished 15 backlog shows in Winter.

More ghost in the shell, i just finish stand alone complex last year, i have to put this in my waiting list. even old anime gets new material i never going to get to new anime lol

Ghost in the Shell: Arise (OAV)

Ghost In The Shell: The New Movie

Ghost in the Shell: Arise Alternative Architecture

Xbox live: kyokusanagiii    Watching: Patlabor The Mobile Police (OAV 1)

Lol I'm a little late for the conversation about movies, but here we go xD

I am going to agree with a couple of users here and say Grave of the Fireflies is  my favorite Ghibli movie and I don't think there will ever be another Ghibli movie like it(or the older ones like Princess Monoke, Howl's Moving Castle and so on). It's one of those movies you can only watch once because of how depressing it is.

But I wanna say one that hasn't been said before so I'll go with End of Evangelion. It just does such a masterful way of telling us what we've wanted to know and even after you watched it a few times, you'll still find new details that you didn't see before. It just keeps you thinking even a long time after you watch it.

Anybody got a waifu this season yet?

Not enough character development yet for me to pick one.

Same.

Though if I ignore that and only focus on appearance and personality, Chidori in Kiznaiver probably wins.

Nao from Flying Witch is probably my favorite female character so far but there is really no one yet that I consider super-compelling.  No one is near the level of the protagonist's mom from ERASED, for example.

Flying Witch has some nifty characters coming, too.

Give me time Versus! You can't rush waifu choosing, it's a delicate process that takes a lot of time and soul searching.

Last season was easy, since Megumin is top tier waifu material though.

Suzuki Rin (Bakuon). Might get replaced by Emilia (Re:zero) depending on future eps

Twin Exorcist thing really isn't very good so far. The lead girl is kind of funny but the lead guy is lame and devoid of originality. That he lets his friends fight alone while still hanging on to the exorcist clan makes no sense. I'm guessing that one guy who believes in him is going to die and, surprise, the protagonist has an awakening. Also, looks like another anime is going the route of ensuring that the kind and helpful childhood friend, who has been looking out for the main character for years, ends up getting the shaft. Is that some kind of Japanese fetish? I'd have a lot of respect for a main character who said, "you know, this girl might not be alien, or fairy, or have any superpowers or magical abilities, but she's really nice, thoughtful, and a good person, so I pick her."

Bungou Stray Dogs has improved with every episode. Things are starting to get interesting. Reminds me of Durarararara, kind of. The blonde was cute. However, Incest Girl might wear on my nerves.

So far I've dropped Haven't You Heard? I'm Sakamoto (boring and too goofy) , Tanaka-kun is Always Listless (really boring) , Bungo Stray Dogs (too goofy), The Lost Village (don't like any of the characters, the bus ride games annoyed me to no end), Flying Witch (too slow/boring) and High School Fleet (it's just meh). On the verge of dropping Cerberus and Joker Game.

Picked up Big Order. Just noticed it was added to CR. Very interesting first episode. Out of the anime for this season, I'm watching Hundred, Cerberus, Joker Game, Re: Zero and Twin Star Exorcists. Hmm, I'll give reviews of the anime once they're at the end of the season.

Where you expecting something different front Studio Perriot?

All Anime/Manga writers hate their childhood friend, so that's why the childhood friend never wins.

It's a giant cliche at this point that needs to end.
