They nailed the adaptation by moving around a lot of scenes, that doesn't happen often.

I used to crap all over JC Staff but the material they've been bringing in so far has me satisfied so I guess their in my "not crap" list from now on ?

They turn good/great LNs into meh/good anime. Given Yen Press translation rate and incapability to licence light novels before the second season is finished, JC staff animus are the only way non japanese speakers can appreciate LNs while they are still culturally relevant.

The reveal scene was genuinely one of the most creepy moments I've ever seen in anime.

I guess the Moe Moe Death sub-genre is here to stay.
