New Gintama anime shocks Japan by mocking a crying politician

Hilarious, though I guess Japan isn't quite as used to satire as the west.  I assumed it was mocking such apologies in general when I saw it first, not one in specific.  That poor bastard.

Lol yeah, and clearly this isn't the first time they've done this kind of thing.  I remember watching an episode of Gintama a while back, then rewatching the episode more recently and noticed that something is being censored that wasn't before.  I looked it up and found out that the politician being made fun of complained and they had to censor out the politicians presence from the episode.

Did you change your display picture because it (the first episode of punchline) wasn't that good or because too many people had the same one as you?

Boring SOL. I'm currently out of the SOL mood so this show wont sit well with me for a while.

I enjoyed it somewhat. It was also dumb as hell though. Its one of those shows like twintail where its so bad that its good.

I think I might check out the 1st ep anyway. Who knows maybe if we support the spinoff we'll get a season 3? *crosses fingers*
