or they are the most outspoken?  it's not like any other fans don't have a voice in it also.. it's up to them whether they say something or not.. regardless, can't blame Sony for having a loyal and outspoken following..

I'll wait for PSNow's adjusted pricing and subscription model announcement to judge. The services aren't quite comparable but it's the closest thing to it I can think of..

I'm pretty sure Microsoft is getting this for free actually. Why would they pay? It is all good for EA and Microsoft. It is not like an exclusivity deal or something.  It is a good opportunity for EA and Microsoft is just happy that Sony passed on this as they can tag it as "exclusive".

Quite simple, they are trying to promote their new console. Henry is right, a deal for something like this in EA's case not being on Origin/PC is just odd. Maybe Henry is right, EA were making Sony pay for the privilege of having the service.

But surely it's a loss in sale for MS? When a customer can pay $30 a year to get those 4 games or more, why would anyone buy Battlefield 4 from MS official store for (currently)... £55 ($92) crap that's a lot (what is the US store price? $60 I presume still?), that's commission gone for every user of EA Access.

People are still paying for Live, people are also going to get incensitive to actually buy new games with this 10% discount and finally they are one year old games. Compare it to the PS+/Games for Gold offering; it is basicaly the same thing.

Options is a good thing, I won't be getting this as I couldn't care less about EA's games, but I'm sure there are quite a few that will. Not to mention quite a few that would, if it came to the PS4 that is.

But are they? These games are not online only? The idea of paying $30 a year (okay maybe not in the US but Europe at least) to always own a relitively update version of FIFA for when your friends come round might be an appealing option but that customer generally doesn't play online so they don't have gold. PS+ doesn't require subscription to anything else to get those games, Sony offer those games as part of PS+ and give the developers a certain amount of income from download/subscriptions..

Sony is correct. PS NOW does what EA ACCESS does and more, since it's got games for all developers and not just one.
