I definitely have no problem resisting the gamerscore thing, I've never been into "gaming rep", lol

Now if they decided to release KI1&2 as arcade releases and standalones for a very cheap price, my resistance may change.  As it stands right now, though, it feels like I'm paying an extra $20 to get it, so you might be able to see why I don't see any desire to cough up the money, haha

Fair point, but a classic game like killer instinct for me on the xbox one on a nice big HD TV is just something i can not resist.

Its just about the right price to lure me in.......... now games like Shenmue and JSRF, if THEY came to xbox one i would be willing to pay the full original £40 asking price from back in the day.

THey prob will release them as stand alone items at some point.  KI2 will also have online multiplayer which peple are excited for.

Either way id say KI3 is the best fighting game ive ever played, hands down.  THe old KI is good but KI3 is much better imo unless you have a lot of nostalgia with the franchise haha

Yup, I caved into the hype and gave 'Destiny' a whirl. So, how did it fare against all that hype that got non-believers like me to buy it?

I disagree with destiny review. Even with friends its beyond boring. No matter the mission or strike, enemies always spawn the same place as does the players. Every story piece is, get to terminal, press x, cue horde mode. Rinse and repeat. Then wtf with random loot? The loot system is embarassing. Look at Warframe for how to do loot in a game like this. And story? Basically it should read on box " we could tell you, but we cant/wont. ". Thats all you hear characters say through the game. Cue dlc. Activision destroyed Bungie. Made their games dlc story reliant.

5/10 for destiny.

7/10 for Warframe.

I get that a lot of people were entirely let down by Destiny (and technically, I was as well).

The reason the score ended up an 8 is mostly because of the potential the game has.  As mentioned in the review, Destiny is not YET the game people expected, but they've demonstrated a level of aptitude that deserves credit, since the basis for the game people DID expect can be achieved, most likely in a sequel.  It's not that they missed the goal entirely, it's that the goal just hasn't been met yet.  Hopefully, they'll achieve it!
